God, the absolute, is verily the 'Nãma' that is Nameless

Swami Papa Ramdas

God is contained in 'srishtti' (creation) and at the same time beyond it ('srishtti'). The Divine Name denotes such a God. It is verily the omnipresent, limitless, changeless, serene 'tattva' that is God who is beyond 'srishtti'. It is this Universe containing within it all the creatures and things bearing name, form and with 'chalana' (movement, changing) that is within the limit of God's 'srishtti'. The Divine Name holds everything within 'IT'; at the same time 'IT' signifies God who is unique and beyond any distinctiveness.

Such Divine Name is the beginningless source of all 'srishtti' and at the same time is 'srishtti'. God, the absolute, is verily the 'Nãma' that is Nameless.
