Sri Swamiji's Message during the Mass prayer on Jan 1st 2008

"Today is a very happy day, not just because it is a New Year day.  It gives me a great pleasure to be in company of you the devotees, who chant the Lord's Name in this wonderful evening"

"Everyone has worries.  I have a worry too!  What is my worry?  Why should the Lord's grace be limited to only a few people?  Can't we bring about a world where there is no disparity in attaining the grace of the Lord? This is my worry! '

'The world is going in a very fast pace. Today's world is not the same as the world years ago.  So there should be a way to attain the Lord, which is suitable for this age.  That is verily Nama Kirtan!

Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare

This Mantra is called Mahamantra because it can give anything and everything.  It is verily Kalpa Taru and Kamadenu.  One would only wonder how such a small mantra can give so many benefits.  We simply can't believe that such a huge banyan tree can be begotten by such a small banyan seed until we really see the tree, can we?"

Sri Sri Swamiji cited an incident in Mahabharata to underline that self-confidence and positive attitude are very important in life.  "Demoralization is devilish.  Motivation and optimism is divine.  Disregard anything that belittles your self-confidence."

Mahamantra is the divine sound that emanates within you.  It is verily born with you.  When you chant the Mahamantra,   you inculcate the self-confidence within you."
