Meaning

They live who live to plough and eat

The rest depend on them to bow and eat.

 

"Pongal is a Farmer's Festival (Uzhavar Thirunal) Just as the whole economy depends essentially on the farmers' produce, all dharmas revolve around and depend on Nama Kirtan to be meaningful and beneficial. Nama Kirtan is the King of all Dharmas and is not dependent on any other Dharma for its existence.

 

It is not always true that the size of the work determines the rate of its success.

 

Bhagavan says in Gita

 

स्वल्पमप्यस्य धर्मस्य त्रायते महतो भयात्

(Srimad Bhagavad Gita - 2:40)

 

"svalpamapyasya dharmasya trayate mahato bhayat¨

 

"Even a little practice of this Dharma protects one from the greatest fear."

 

Chanting of each Nama will definitely yield result.

 

Chant the Mahamantra Nama kirtan :
