He says, it goes without saying that those that see God in every creation will certainly attain Him, 'jnaani thu aathmaiva me matham'.

Bhagavan says, 'Those that perform such nirguna bhakti, too, attain Him indeed! Such great souls forever have goodwill for all life forms.' Sant Namdev would forego food and sleep, and will be lost in Nama Kirtan at the banks of Chandrabagha River. One day, when his wife brought him roti and sugar to eat, he asked her to place it aside and leave. A dog that came that side grabbed the roti and walked away. Sant Namdev, immediately chased the dog, saying 'Panduranga! How would you eat the bland roti without sugar? Stop! Stop!' And there! The dog vanished and he had the Divine Vision of Lord Panduranga in its place. This is an example of the compassion of Mahans towards all life forms.

In a similar incident, when Sant Eknath was carrying the Holy Water from River Ganga on his journey back from Kasi, he saw a donkey that was about to die from thirst. The other pilgrims walked away without concern. Sant Eknath gave holy water meant for samaradhana (ritual done on completion of a pilgrimage), to the donkey. He had a Divine Vision of Lord Panduranga Himself, in that very place.

The sufferings faced by life forms leave Mahans in deep agony. This is what Bhagavan refers to as 'sarva bhootha hithe rathah'. He says, it goes without saying that those that see God in every creation will certainly attain Him, 'jnaani thu aathmaiva me matham'.
